Reptile light globes come with a guarantee* that is contingent upon proper installation and use. This guarantee does not cover the various factors that can impede a bulb's functionality. Some of these factors include moisture, dust, electric surges, poor-quality light housing, and extreme temperature changes or improper use.
Dimming Thermostats are recommended as the preferred choice of thermostats due to the dimming ability reducing the impact on the globe turning on/off.
* Guarantee is for 2 weeks from purchase and covered upon return of faulty unit.
It is also recommended if an enclosure has continued issues around the life span of globes to use a Spiral Heat Emitter of Ceramic Globe. Both these come with a 1 year warranty.
